FALL COMPETENT PERSON
- Discuss OSHA requirements to be a Competent Person
- Discuss the methods of Hazard Analysis
- Discuss the purpose and process of developing a proper Job Safety
- Environmental Analysis (JSEA)
- Discuss the purpose and process of the Permit to Work System (PTW)
- Demonstrate the ability to perform a Risk Assessment
- Demonstrate the ability to complete a JSEA
- Demonstrate the ability to complete a Permit
- Demonstrate the ability to use a Fall Rescue Plan
Qualified means one who, by possession of recognized certificate or professional standing, or who by extensive knowledge, training and experience, has successfully demonstrated his or her ability to solve or resolve problems related to the subject matter (OSHA Subpart C – General Safety and Health Provisions §1926.32).
