Course Summary
This training provides a general qualification for personnel in the techniques used for safe rescue of personnel working in confined spaces and the necessary equipment to accomplish a safe and efficient operation.
A valid Permit Required Confined Space E/A/S certificate from an established provider
NOTE: It is advised that the Permit Required Confined Space Entrant/Attendant course has been completed within 30 days prior of taking Permit Required Confined Space Rescue as the Permit Required Confined Space Rescue course builds upon knowledge learned from the Permit Required Confined Space Entrant/Attendant course.
Additionally, as per OSHA guidelines personnel can not enter a Permit Required Confined Space without having taken a Permit Required Confined Space Entrant/Attendant course. Permit Required Confined Space Rescue does not meet that guideline.
Due to the physical demands of the course, it is the responsibility of the employer and participant to pre-determine the participant’s ability to safely attend the course.
